long stretch

I got my longest stretch of hospital sleep last night. I asked for my pain killers before I settled. I was only due one lot so had them. I knew this meant they would wake me for the rest of my night time tablets and pain killers but at least I'd had some. Off I go to sleep. A little while later they come in with the rest. This time is just a flashing light, a bright light and a wheeled unit knocked into my bed! I ask if they can do my observations while they're here. Which they do. Off they go. And then...

And then...

And then...

... Nothing for six wonderful hours! I went straight back off to sleep and when they came for my next observations they whispered in and out again so my sleep was hardly disturbed.

    So good to hear you finally got some uninterrupted sleep….praying about today and decisions re going home and scheduling of the op. Praying for right decisions to be made and that you do get those cuddles with your boys.
    In the meantime….you never know, you might get some more mash!?

Stats

 looking at the stats of how many people have visited our blog (BECAUSE I am that egotistical!) it would appear that people are expecting an update (we can't see whose been for a look, just how many people) So at long last here it is. I'm trying to think of what we've done since either of us last wrote. We had a hospital appointment last week, and sadly found out that the remaining tumours have grown. Apparently this means there is no point carrying on with the treatment as if it hadn't started to work by now it's not going to and I was having the full whack I could for the kind of tumour. So it took time to get released from hospital (again) bit we got there and I'm now home and in bed. I can't fault any of the staff at Addenbrookes, they were all great but they were very understaffed and had things they had to be doing so I understand when breakfast either comes really lateor doesn't come at all and when it takes an hour to get a letter printed. They were all really caring and wanted the best fit each of their patients and whether hard for the best for each of their patients. We arrived back in time for Mark to pick Zeb up from Beavers which was a weight off marks mind as he does with about being late. Add I've now had my hug and am in bed smelling sausages cooking as Mark makes his tea, going there might be enough sausage left for a sandwich for breakfast. I did tell them as I left addenbrookes that if I had to stay in hospital again I'd like to stay in Ipswich coz it makes it much easier for us for visitors and having things brought in. All main l

Aroma

 I'm typing this in my phone n the dark sat in smalls room waiting for him to go to sleep, so expect lots of mistakes living with boys there are plenty of those around here but that's not what I'm in here to talk about. One of my favourite parts of getting ready in the morning is putting a small squirt of perfume on, mostly because I know that the next thing that is likely to happen is small boy give me a hug goodbye And i know that some of the smell will transfer to him so he carries me with him throughout the day.
