another day another hospital visit

Yesterday was a trip to the eye clinic at Ipswich hospital to check my field of visiting and scans of my eyes, they were happy with everything and I felt like it's walked a marathon as we decided not to take the chair or walker. I was definitely slow and my legs a ache now bi need to do more walking to keep my body used to it. This weekend is all about relaxing together. According to Zeb its decs up weekend. Mark has said yes so long as Zeb helps tidy and out them up in sure I'll be napping and snacking a lot as that is my main activity group. I've mentioned the Samsung lunch rota church have put together. Yesterday's sandwich was an amazing crispy bacon and lettuce sandwich. I couldn't eaten then all day. I pretty much did eat them ask day as I allslept ploughed through them, they were delicious, thank you Judy . And everyone else who has provided any food or love.

    It was delicious. Mark makes a good sandwich too, as so lots of other people so it seems, I'm being well fed!

    Glad you are being well fed, I wish mark would've made me a sandwich 🥪 when we we're younger.🤣
    He's a good one, and the church are a life line for you All.

      We're trying to keep moving, not as good as you and Simon though! You'll have to get him to make you a sandwich next time you're down. His last one was ham lettuce and tomato in brown with very crunchy crisps, delicious. He shall cooked orzo for the first time at the weekend which was good!

    Well done in going 'solo' without your chair /walker. Em has done a bit of walking with a stick recently, rather than wheelchair... Slow but steady wins the race

 looking at the stats of how many people have visited our blog (BECAUSE I am that egotistical!) it would appear that people are expecting an update (we can't see whose been for a look, just how many people) So at long last here it is. I'm trying to think of what we've done since either of us last wrote. We had a hospital appointment last week, and sadly found out that the remaining tumours have grown. Apparently this means there is no point carrying on with the treatment as if it hadn't started to work by now it's not going to and I was having the full whack I could for the kind of tumour. So it took time to get released from hospital (again) bit we got there and I'm now home and in bed. I can't fault any of the staff at Addenbrookes, they were all great but they were very understaffed and had things they had to be doing so I understand when breakfast either comes really lateor doesn't come at all and when it takes an hour to get a letter printed. They were all really caring and wanted the best fit each of their patients and whether hard for the best for each of their patients. We arrived back in time for Mark to pick Zeb up from Beavers which was a weight off marks mind as he does with about being late. Add I've now had my hug and am in bed smelling sausages cooking as Mark makes his tea, going there might be enough sausage left for a sandwich for breakfast. I did tell them as I left addenbrookes that if I had to stay in hospital again I'd like to stay in Ipswich coz it makes it much easier for us for visitors and having things brought in. All main l

Aroma

 I'm typing this in my phone n the dark sat in smalls room waiting for him to go to sleep, so expect lots of mistakes living with boys there are plenty of those around here but that's not what I'm in here to talk about. One of my favourite parts of getting ready in the morning is putting a small squirt of perfume on, mostly because I know that the next thing that is likely to happen is small boy give me a hug goodbye And i know that some of the smell will transfer to him so he carries me with him throughout the day.
