bludgeoned

So I suddenly came to from a dream in which someone was being bludgeoned to the head, can't think where my subconscious was getting that from! 

So while I'm awake I thought I'd put some things in here that people could be praying if you'd like to. If you've ever met Mark or I then hopefully you know that we are Christians and that our faith is a central part of our lives. This means that when we face joys and challenges in life we choose to face them with God. And so we, and those Christians we know, talk to God (pray), about those things.

Please pray for:
- a miracle. I long for them to open me up and tiny the tumour has gone. God has miraculously healed. He is the only one who can.
- full tumour removal. God has given those surgeons the ability to do it so if it's still there when they open me up the best result is to get it all out, although with brains that is tricky.
- peace. Obviously our feelings are all over the place. But we know that God is the only one who gives deep peace as we rest in him.
- Zeb. No one wants to see their child have to deal with what Zeb is right now. He is handling it as you would expect. Thank God for his school and their incredible support of him and understanding. Pray he would continue to have places and spaces to express himself and seek understanding.
- wider family. They have all been incredible with their love and support. We're are thankful for then and recognise that this is tough for them too.
- yourself. If you know God pray he would reveal more of himself to you. If you think she keeps going on about this God but I don't know him then ask us and we can talk to you more about him, or guide you towards ways you can find out more about him. He is so worth knowing.
- practical stuff like the journey being smooth. I'm not good at sitting up comfortably so. Packing the right things for hospital as it's not like all my things are a stone's throw from the hospital like when I'm in Ipswich. Mark and Zeb keeping ticking over while I'm away (they're a tight unit so I think they'll be ok mucking about together!).
- that we can feel close as family despite being apart.
- that the unknowns wouldn't feel big.

And now to try and sleep!

Stats

 looking at the stats of how many people have visited our blog (BECAUSE I am that egotistical!) it would appear that people are expecting an update (we can't see whose been for a look, just how many people) So at long last here it is. I'm trying to think of what we've done since either of us last wrote. We had a hospital appointment last week, and sadly found out that the remaining tumours have grown. Apparently this means there is no point carrying on with the treatment as if it hadn't started to work by now it's not going to and I was having the full whack I could for the kind of tumour. They were saying they want me to have the best quality life I can at the moment, and the treatment did make me fairly ill. On that note we are trying our best to have good family times. So it took time to get released from hospital (again) bit we got there and I'm now home and in bed. I can't fault any of the staff at Addenbrookes, they were all great but they were very understaffed and had things they had to be doing so I understand when breakfast either comes really lateor doesn't come at all and when it takes an hour to get a letter printed. They were all really caring and wanted the best fit each of their patients and whether hard for the best for each of their patients. We arrived back in time for Mark to pick Zeb up from Beavers which was a weight off marks mind as he does with about being late. Add I've now had my hug and am in bed smelling sausages cooking as Mark makes his tea, going there might be enough sausage left for a sandwich for breakfast. I did tell them as I left addenbrookes that if I had to stay in hospital again I'd like to stay in Ipswich coz it makes it much easier for us for visitors and having things brought in. All main l

Aroma

 I'm typing this in my phone n the dark sat in smalls room waiting for him to go to sleep, so expect lots of mistakes living with boys there are plenty of those around here but that's not what I'm in here to talk about. One of my favourite parts of getting ready in the morning is putting a small squirt of perfume on, mostly because I know that the next thing that is likely to happen is small boy give me a hug goodbye And i know that some of the smell will transfer to him so he carries me with him throughout the day.
