what a mixed afternoon

So, after report it has been quiet. Bring on today. I managed to pick the new car up today which lovely. I have also just arrived at addenbrookes as Ruth needs a neurosurgeon to look her head wound to see it all is well and what to do for it. 

Car review

The car is lovely. So nice to drive. Smooth and comfortable. Will make our family journeys a while.lot better moving forwards and the wheel chair sits lovely in the boot. As it has 3 full size seats in the back, Zeb has bagged the middle seat so he can feel like a space pilot and get a smashing view of the journeys we do. 

Mean while I am now sat in Costa coffee with a hot choc while Ruth sits in A and E for a person to pop down and see her. We have been told it could be a quick visit, or it could be a few hours depending if the guy is busy or in surgery. We have an overnight bag packed just in case. We don't want to use it but we know from past experiences to always be prepared.

Zeb is at grandads and missed his first pick up in the new car. Aiming to be back before bedtime but may have to be a granddad sleep over night. 

Looking forward to our lovely trip home in the car. Sooner rather than later would be nice

    Sorry Zeb hasn't had any snow ❄️ to enjoy, we we'rent expecting as much as we got.

    Glad the new car is giving lot's of comfort 😀, I used to Only sit in the middle even if it was just me. Rachel and mark would have the window seat so they could sleep on the window. Because of this I struggle with journey's if I'm not sat in the front either side or back middle. Think it's because I have to see where I'm going.

Stats

 looking at the stats of how many people have visited our blog (BECAUSE I am that egotistical!) it would appear that people are expecting an update (we can't see whose been for a look, just how many people) So at long last here it is. I'm trying to think of what we've done since either of us last wrote. We had a hospital appointment last week, and sadly found out that the remaining tumours have grown. Apparently this means there is no point carrying on with the treatment as if it hadn't started to work by now it's not going to and I was having the full whack I could for the kind of tumour. So it took time to get released from hospital (again) bit we got there and I'm now home and in bed. I can't fault any of the staff at Addenbrookes, they were all great but they were very understaffed and had things they had to be doing so I understand when breakfast either comes really lateor doesn't come at all and when it takes an hour to get a letter printed. They were all really caring and wanted the best fit each of their patients and whether hard for the best for each of their patients. We arrived back in time for Mark to pick Zeb up from Beavers which was a weight off marks mind as he does with about being late. Add I've now had my hug and am in bed smelling sausages cooking as Mark makes his tea, going there might be enough sausage left for a sandwich for breakfast. I did tell them as I left addenbrookes that if I had to stay in hospital again I'd like to stay in Ipswich coz it makes it much easier for us for visitors and having things brought in. All main l

Aroma

 I'm typing this in my phone n the dark sat in smalls room waiting for him to go to sleep, so expect lots of mistakes living with boys there are plenty of those around here but that's not what I'm in here to talk about. One of my favourite parts of getting ready in the morning is putting a small squirt of perfume on, mostly because I know that the next thing that is likely to happen is small boy give me a hug goodbye And i know that some of the smell will transfer to him so he carries me with him throughout the day.
