clarity

I realised with the editing I probably didn't make the next lot of hospital stuff very clear. It's felt like we had to do a bit of chasing to get answers that we could have been given all at once. But you have to work in the systems I guess. So to be clear, I go into hospital on Thursday 11th November with the operation being the 12th. They hope to get me home within 2-4 days. That falls over the weekend so I guess it will be towards the end of that time period. 

Having dates is good. We've been able to talk it through more with Zeb so he understands more of what will be going on. He had been starting to say things like 'they'll ring us tomorrow and we'll take you in for your operation and pick you up later'. So having more information means he is also more informed.

Having dates means it's all more real. There is definitely something in there that is going to be dealt with. They are definitely cutting my head open. They are going into my brain. I mean I know it's real. The sensations in my head are increasing. I'm getting a bit more wobbly. I'm able to be out of bed less. But dates make it more real.

    Glad to hear that you now have a date for the operation, I can understand your apprehension.

    Hopefully the time will go quickly and the operation will be a success, we pray that it will be.

Stats

 looking at the stats of how many people have visited our blog (BECAUSE I am that egotistical!) it would appear that people are expecting an update (we can't see whose been for a look, just how many people) So at long last here it is. So it took time to get released from hospital (again) bit we got there and I'm now home and in bed. I can't fault any of the staff at Addenbrookes, they were all great but they were very understaffed and had things they had to be doing so I understand when breakfast either comes really lateor doesn't come at all and when it takes an hour to get a letter printed. They were all really caring and wanted the best fit each of their patients and whether hard for the best for each of their patients. We arrived back in time for Mark to pick Zeb up from Beavers which was a weight off marks mind as he does with about being late. Add I've now had my hug and am in bed smelling sausages cooking as Mark makes his tea, going there might be enough sausage left for a sandwich for breakfast. Aroma

 I'm typing this in my phone n the dark sat in smalls room waiting for him to go to sleep, so expect lots of mistakes living with boys there are plenty of those around here but that's not what I'm in here to talk about. One of my favourite parts of getting ready in the morning is putting a small squirt of perfume on, mostly because I know that the next thing that is likely to happen is small boy give me a hug goodbye And i know that some of the smell will transfer to him so he carries me with him throughout the day.
